Inappropriate Use of Lasers is a Maryland-based studio working across laser-engraved wood, metal, and glass, as well as 3D printed objects including plant pots and functional pieces. The work explores the tension between precision fabrication and deliberately unrefined content, using clean linework, controlled forms, and material contrast to frame language that is blunt, irreverent, and always inappropriate. By placing explicit or socially coded phrases into carefully crafted objects, the pieces shift between humor and discomfort, somewhere between something you laugh at, something you live with, and something you have to put away when the in-laws visit.
I created this website to showcase my full collection, including pieces that contain elements not permitted on Etsy's platform. While my Etsy shop features risque, cheeky, and fun items, my exclusive collection includes far more mature and explicit artwork.
